You have exclusive access to the house, except for a few designated closets: 2 closets on the first floor, 2nd floor mudroom closet, and master bedroom owner's closet.

Modern Mountain is near neighboring houses in Black Mountain, where the natural sounds of the outdoors are part of the area's charm. In the mornings, you may hear the sound of roosters crowing. We provide sound machines and earplugs for light sleepers.

There are active bears in the area. Avoid leaving food or trash outside, and make sure to store all food securely in the house or in garbage containers in the garage. Keeping the space tidy and free of food waste helps to ensure both guest and bear safety.
